Q: Wouldn't be cheaper and easier to do the work myself?

A: Cheaper -- yes; Easier -- no.  While many people find pleasure in performing repairs and restoration themselves, many simply lack the time, the knowledge or the skills to perform these tasks.  That's where we come in.  We have the tools and expertise to handle even the most complicated projects.

Q: Why would I restore something when I can replace it for less money?

A: There are many answers to this seemingly simple question.  For example, an item which has been in the family for years may have sentimental value.  An item may be a part of set or fit the particular needs of its owner.  We find that the reasons our customers chose to restore rather than replace are often as unique as they are.

It is also important to remember that not all furniture is whole wood.  These days one is more likely to find veneer over particle board or plywood where decades ago solid wood was used. The phrase "they don't make it like they used to" is perhaps nowhere as true as in the ready-made furniture industry.

E-mail us with more questions and we'll post them here with our answers!
